Discover America Denmark organizes 3-4 events a year - both professional and social. Our main purpose with the events is to promote travel to America and to create settings where the tourism industry can network and exchange business opportunities with each other.
Among other, the events includes USA Travel Show - the largest B2B workshop in Scandinavia to focus on America, a casual Thanksgiving event, and Danish Travel Show - Ferie for alle in MCH Herning, where Discover America Denmark help gather American exhibitors to be part of the four-day B2C show.
Members of Discover America Denmark can participate free of charge, or to a reduced rate, as activities and marketing are funded by membership fees and sponsorships.

USA Travel Show is Discover America Denmark's annual signature event. Exhibitors from all corners of America participate in a full day program with lots of opportunities for business and networking with Scandinavian travel agents and media.
As a membership organization, Discover America Denmark holds one general meeting a year. At the general meeting, the board presents the budget and activities and all members are welcome to participate.
FDM is a member of Discover America Denmark. Each year they organize the only and largest B2C event in Denmark focusing on USA as a travel destination with more than 40 exhibitors and 3.000+ visitors.
At this year's USA Travel Show, more than 60 exhibitors from the United States met with +250 Scandinavian travel agents and media for a day filled with B2B workshop, Nordic market update, press conferences, one-on-one meetings, and plenty of opportunities to network and do business.
At the general meeting, the board presented the annual budget and activities to participating members. This year we invited Gitte Holtze to give a keynote speech about her incredible 4,265 kilometers hike from Mexico to Canada.
